🔼  Season Finale. Florida Atlantic football’s season came to a close on Saturday afternoon in a 42-3 loss to East Carolina. Junior WR Easton Messer posted 86 yards in the game and finished the season with 104 catches for 1,052 yards, good for third all-time in single season receiving yards in FAU history. Meanwhile, Caden Veltkamp and Zach Gibson combined for 299 passing yards. On defense, LB Tyler Stolsky finished with a team-high 12 tackles, while fellow linebacker Leon Hart Jr. added nine. Dillion Williams tallied five tackles, giving him 100 career tackles, and freshman DE Josh Roberts notched his third sack of the season.

🔼 OT Thriller. FAU women’s hoops posted a come-from-behind OT thriller victory with a 66-65 win over Wright State on Friday. The Owls are now 4-3 on the season. Three different players finished in double digits, including Destyne Jackson (12), Michiyah Simmons (12), and Madi Gewirtz (11). Haley Walker led the way with 11 rebounds, while Vivian Onugha added nine. The Owls will travel to Bowling Green to face Western Kentucky on Wednesday.

🦉 ONE BIG THING

FAU football announced the addition of running back Leonard Farrow. Farrow comes from Fairmont State of Division II where he finished fifth in D2 with 1,438 rushing yards and 14 total touchdowns, including 12 on the ground. Farrow posted single-game career highs in rushiing yards, touchdowns, and long rush during the most recent season.
