🔼 The Honor Is His. Quarterback Caden Veltkamp has received American Conference Player of the Week Honorable Mention honors! He finished Saturday’s game with the program’s single-game record in most attempts, completions, and passing yards, going 42-55-1 for 494 yards.

🔼 Sunshine State Split. The men’s basketball team started the week with a 76-65 win over Loyola Marymount on Monday! Kanaan Carlyle recorded his second-straight 20-point performance. The Owls went on to the Sunshine Slam championship game, where they ultimately fell to George Mason 74-65. They fought back to erase a 19-point second half deficit, but the Patriots converted six free throws down the stretch to secure the win.

🔼 Diving In. Men’s diver Trevor Kuhn has been named the ASUN Diver of the Week for the third time this season! He won the 1-meter dive at the George Mason Patriot Invitational and also provided scoring in the 3-meter dive.

🔼 Hard-Fought Battle. The women’s basketball team battled closely with Florida, but ultimately fell 59-51 on Monday. Destyne Jackson led the Owls with 10 points, with Michiyah Simmons, Haley Walker, and Vivian Onugha behind her with nine. The Owls kick off the Thanksgiving Classic against Air Force tomorrow at noon on ESPN+.
