Paradise Brew 11/25: Road Dubs = Best Dubs
The Florida Atlantic WBB team earned a dominant road win over the FIU Panthers on Saturday
Good morning, Owls Family. Road Dubs = Best Dubs. The Florida Atlantic Owls bounced back in a big way on Saturday, earning a dominant 62-52 win on the road over the FIU Panthers, improving to 4-2 on the season.
Mya Perry led the Owls with a season-high 22 points, shooting 62 percent (8-of-13) from the field and 67 percent (6-of-9) from 3-point range. She also added four rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and a steal. Maria Myklebust also registered double figures for the Owls, turning in a season-high 11 points, shooting 67 percent (4-of-6) from the field and 60 percent (3-of-5) from 3-point range to go along with five boards.

🔼 Blame the Buzzer. The Florida Atlantic men's basketball team staged a second-half comeback that fell just short at the buzzer, losing to Seton Hall by a score of 63-61 for Sunday's final day of the 2024 Shriners Children's Charleston Classic.
The Owls return to Boca Raton and the Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena, where they own a 33-1 record since March of 2022, for a matchup against Florida Gulf Coast (2-5) on Saturday, Nov. 30. The game will tip-off at 6 p.m. and air on ESPN+.
🔼 A Shocking End. The No. 6-seeded Florida Atlantic Owls battled tough but fell against No. 4-seeded Wichita State Shockers in the American Athletic Conference Championship on Sunday, 3-0 (22-25, 19-25, 19-25) inside Charles Koch Arena.
Valeria Rosado led the Owls with 11 kills, hitting .267 and adding six digs, an assist, a block, and an ace. Katelynn Robine finished with a team-second-best eight kills and led the Owls in aces with two. Victoria Hensley dished out 28 assists and added eight digs and a block.

🔼 Swimming Laps Around the Competition. For the second straight season, the Florida Atlantic men's and women's swimming and diving teams have swept the competition at the 2024 Patriot Invitational, with school records once again being broken on Saturday evening. The ultimate total on the weekend was three school records and 14 first-place finishes.
🔼 Full “STEM” Ahead. The Go Bowling Military Bowl is proud to announce the members of the fourth annual Go Bowling Military Bowl STEM Scholar-Athlete Program.
The Go Bowling Military Bowl STEM Scholar-Athlete Program honors one football player at each university who is a member of the ACC and the American Athletic Conference—the two conferences represented in the Go Bowling Military Bowl college football game. These players are some of the brightest minds studying STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) subjects and/or aspire to STEM careers.
The two players whose teams compete in the 2024 Go Bowling Military Bowl will be recognized at the game, which will take place on Saturday, Dec. 28, at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md.
🔼 Tulsa-Bound. The Florida Atlantic football team was defeated by Charlotte, 39-27, in their final home game of the 2024 season on Saturday afternoon. 22 senior players were honored in a pregame ceremony. One final game remains for FAU as they travel to Tulsa on Saturday, Nov. 30. The game, airing on ESPN+, will kick off at 3:30 p.m. EST.
