FAU men’s hoops roared to an 82-59 win over Pacific at The Elly last night. Kanaan Carlyle led FAU with 21 points, while Isaiah Elohim and Devin Vanterpool also finished in double figures. The Owls will be back on the hardwood on Monday against LMU.

🔼 An Incredible Season. FAU men’s soccer’s incredible season came to a close in the NCAA Tournament last night as the Owls fell to UCF, 3-2. After the game, Coach Joey Worthen shared his thoughts on what this team meant to him.

🔼 Game Time. Florida Atlantic welcomes UConn on Saturday at 3 p.m. The Owls and Huskies will face off on ESPN+ and FoxSports 640 South Florida. Full preview here.

🔼 Cap And Gown. FAU student-athletes earned a 90 percent Graduation Success Rate, which matches a school record for the third consecutive year. 10 different teams at FAU earned 100 percent GSR: men’s basketball, men’s golf, men’s swimming and diving, men’s tennis, women’s golf, softball, women’s soccer, women’s swimming and diving, women’s track, and volleyball.

🔼 All-Conference. Olivia Hart and Emsley Venard earned All-Conference recognition after the Owls closed out the regular season with 19 wins on the volleyball court this year. Hart earned American Second Team All-Conference, while Venard received All-Freshman Team recognition. It’s the first time either player has earned a career postseason honor.

🔼 Owls in the NFL. Week 11 is finished in the NFL, so let’s take a look at how our Owls fared. Azeez Al-Shaair played every defensive snap for the Texans, logging six tackles, and leads the team in tackles with 65. James Pierre scored his first career touchdown for the Steelers and tallied six tackles, his most in a game since 2016. Devin Singletary scored two touchdowns for the Giants and ran for a season-high 44 yards as New York fell to the Packers.
