Good Morning, FAU Family. The Owls are Championship-bound! FAU men’s soccer beat Tulsa, 3-0, during the week to advance to Saturday’s American Conference Championship game. Ethan Schumaker and Olliver Moller-Jensen logged goals for the Owls in the win, with Moller-Jensen scoring twice. FAU will face FIU at 6 p.m. for the title.

🔼 Game Notes. FAU is set to take on Tulane in New Orleans tomorrow. Here’s everything you need to know before kickoff.

🔼 Manager of the Year. FAU baseball alum Pat Murphy earned NL Manager of the Year for the second consecutive season! Murphy piloted the Milwaukee Brewers to back-to-back NL Central Division titles. Murphy was previously inducted into the FAU Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008.

🔼 Inside The Owls’ Burrow. Inside the Owls’ Burrow is back with a new episode! The episode features Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley talking about FAU’s homecoming win over Tulsa and previews this week’s road game against Tulane. Vincent Fiacable will be featured on “Pads Off” while the episode chronicles Keon Rohe’s journey from Germany to playing college football in America. The episode also features former QB Rusty Smith, the first FAU player to be drafted into the NFL, and dives deep into the impetus for FAU’s “throwback” helmet.

🔼 Regionals Time. FAU cross country is heading to Regionals! The men’s and women’s teams are in Huntsville today, with the women running the 6K at 9:30 a.m. and the men running the 10K at 10:30 a.m. The races will air on ESPN+.

🔼 Owls in the NFL. Five Owls were active last week in the NFL! Azeez Al-Shaair played 100% of Houston’s defensive snaps, leading the team with eight tackles in the Texans’ win. Tight end Harrison Bryant was the team’s starting tight end, seeing the field for 17 snaps on offense. TE Zaire Mitchell-Paden played a career high 26 snaps in New Orleans’ win, while CB James Pierre made five tackles and two deflections for the Steelers. Finally, Devin Singletary recorded New York’s longest play of the day with a 41-yard gain as the Giants lost to the Bears.

FAU offensive lineman Scarlee Jean earned Go Bowling Military Bowl STEM Scholar-Athlete honors! Jean is pursuing his second degree as he plans to attend medical school and is working toward earning a diploma in neuroscience and human behavior.
