The Florida Atlantic Career Center is excited to invite employers to participate in the Spring 2025 Career Fairs hosted by Florida Atlantic University's prestigious Career Center.  These highly anticipated events provide an excellent opportunity for employers to engage with a diverse pool of talented students and alumni, offering access to potential future leaders and innovators in their respective industries.

🔼 Challenge Accepted. The Florida Atlantic men's basketball team will play its second and final exhibition game of 2024, traveling to Auburn to take on the Tigers tonight. Tipoff is at 8 p.m. ET.
 
As a last tune-up before the start of the regular season, the Owls will make their first visit to Auburn since 1994 in a charity matchup that will benefit the university's Melton Scholars Program. They will face a formidable opponent in the Tigers, the reigning champions of the Southeastern Conference.

🔼 Tip Times Incoming. The Florida Atlantic men's basketball team has announced their non-conference tipoff times and networks for the 2024-25 regular season.
 
Before their second American Athletic Conference matchup slate, the Owls will host four home games at the Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena, beginning with a Nov. 8 matchup against Coastal Georgia at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Movin’ On Up. Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season is in the books, with six former Florida Atlantic Owls seeing action.

- Now on the team's official 53-man roster, Anderson has solidified his role as a rotational player for the defense. In San Francisco's 30-24 Sunday night win over the Dallas Cowboys in primetime, he logged a tackle in 14 snaps, one that stopped the running back from gaining more than one yard.

🔼 A Tough Pill to Swallow. Florida Atlantic's women's soccer team fell to UTSA by a 2-1 score in the last match of the 2024 season.

With less than 15 minutes into the second half, freshman Sutton Markee scored her first collegiate goal in her home state to take the lead and put the Owls on the board. UTSA responded with the equalizer in the 66th minute. With a couple of minutes left in the match, the Roadrunners scored to take the lead. Gonzalez ended the night with eight saves to improve her season total to 60 on the year. 

🔼 Same Heart, Different Home. Due to renovations at the FAU Softball Stadium, Florida Atlantic will be hosting its fall home softball games at Cypress Park in Coral Springs, located at 1301 Coral Springs Drive.
 
The Owls will host Lynn on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 6 p.m. ET and play a doubleheader against FIU and St. Johns River on Saturday, Nov. 2, with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m. Florida Atlantic will play on Field 2 on Wednesday, and Field 3 on Saturday.
 
On Sunday, Nov. 3, the Owls will travel to Fort Lauderdale to face Nova Southeastern, first pitch at 1 p.m. The fall season will conclude on Wednesday, Nov. 6, with a road matchup at Barry University, scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.

🔼 Good Things ⇢ Small Packages. FAU Football has unveiled a new black helmet design to debut on Friday night when the Owls host South Florida at FAU Stadium for Homecoming. In conjunction, limited-edition replica mini helmets will be on sale Friday at the stadium.

Sure to be a collector's item, the special mini helmets will feature the same Owls script branding in red on each side and a red face mask. Only 150 helmets will be available to the public, and each helmet will be individually numbered for authenticity.

With the team wearing all-black jerseys trimmed in red, the Owls encourage fans to wear red for Friday's showdown against their cross-state, intra-conference rival. This will be the first time the team has worn black helmets with the script Owls branding.

🔼 “Toto, We’re Not in Kansas … Oh, Never Mind.” Florida Atlantic's men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Wichita this afternoon to compete in the 2024 American Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships, which will be hosted by Wichita State.
 
This will mark the second AAC cross-country championships that the Owls participate in. The women will run the 6K at 5:05 p.m. ET, while the men will take on an 8K run, beginning at 5:50 p.m. ET. Florida Atlantic looks to continue a successful season that has seen long-time program records fall.
