🔼 On The Road. FAU football is on the road this weekend, traveling to Houston to battle Rice tomorrow. The game will be played under the lights with a 7 p.m. ET kickoff, and it marks the first American Conference road test for the Owls. You can catch the game televised on ESPN+. Full preview here.

🔼 A Draw. FAU women’s soccer played to a 2-2 draw against East Carolina last night. The Owls got goals from Michelle Horan and Hailey Santiago en route to the draw, while goalies Ashley Small and Megan Hogate tallied four saves between them.

Next up for the Owls? The squad will travel to Memphis on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. for a road game.

🔼. It’s Game Day. FAU men’s soccer will bring its undefeated conference record on the road tonight as the Owls take on Missouri State. Kickoff is slated for 8 p.m. ET this evening. The Owls are off to a strong start this season at 6-2 (2-0 in American Conference play) and received votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches’ Poll. Tonight’s battle will air on ESPN+.

🔼 Dive In. Florida Atlantic men’s and women’s swimming and diving are heading on the road for the first time this season for the annual TYR Fall Classic. The meet gets underway today at 5 p.m. and continues tomorrow beginning at 10 a.m. Full preview here.

🔼 Owls in the NFL. Seven former Owls took to the gridiron in Week 4 of the NFL season. Azeez Al-Shaair played 94% of Houston’s defensive snaps as the Texans picked up their first win of the season, while Harrison Bryant saw time on offense and special teams for Houston.

Trey Hendrickson recorded a season-high four tackles for the Bengals, Zaire Mitchell-Paden played a number of snaps for the Chiefs on offense and special teams, and James Pierre recorded two key pass breakups late in the game for the Steelers.

Meanwhile, Devin Singletary rushed for 28 yards and returned two kicks for another 53 as the Giants got into the win column for the first time this season, and offensive lineman Brandon Walton was called up from the practice squad for the Panthers and played 23 snaps.
