📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Frosh Off the Presses. Freshman Biagio Gagliardi (-13) won the Ironwood Collegiate Classic by three shots on Tuesday—his first victory in just his second start as an Owl. As a team, the Owls finished third with a two-day total of 552 (-24). Tournament host East Carolina (-28) won the team title.

Gagliardi started the day tied for the lead, but a birdie-eagle-birdie stretch at the sixth-eighth holes left him alone at the top of the leaderboard. The Italian's two-day total of 131 set a new 36-hole program record. The previous record of 134 had stood since Steve LeBrun did it twice in the 1999-2000 season.

🔼 Football Shuffle. The Florida Atlantic football game at Iowa has moved its 2025 contest to 2030, announced the Owls on Monday. FAU is now scheduled to play at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2030.

Also on the 2025 slate is a home game versus Connecticut on Saturday, Nov. 22nd, as well as away contests at Maryland on Saturday, Aug. 30th, to open the season, and the Shula Bowl at FIU on Saturday, Sept. 13th.

Also, FAU is slated to play host to fellow American Atlantic Conference member North Texas on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m.

🔼 Tip Of the Hat to Nat. Following a phenomenal week that included helping lead Florida Atlantic to its first AAC sweep of the season over Charlotte, freshman right side Natalie Depaula was named the AAC Freshman of the Week, marking back-to-back AAC weekly honors for the Owl newcomer.

🔼 Come to Mention It. Florida Atlantic men's soccer graduate senior Noah Kvifte has been named to the AAC's weekly Honorable Mention list.
 
Kvifte scored the equalizer goal in the 75th minute of Sunday's 1-1 draw with Temple. It was his third goal of the season and his ninth in 22 career games as an Owl.
 
FAU men's soccer has earned at least one conference superlative in five of the first six weeks of the regular season.

The Owls will take on Memphis on Tuesday, Jan. 2. at the Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena to kick off conference play, followed by their first conference road trip against East Carolina (Sunday, Jan. 5) and Charlotte (Wednesday, Jan. 8).
