Good Morning, FAU Fam.
Florida Atlantic volleyball made quick work of Charlotte in straight sets, 25-20, 25-16, 25-12, hitting a blistering .440 as a team with just seven attack errors on 75 swings yesterday afternoon. FAU has won four straight. Olivia Hart led the way with nine kills without a single error, Sequoia Layne added eight kills and six blocks, and the Owls out-aced the 49ers 8-3. FAU held Charlotte to a .262 clip and a 47.9% sideout rate while winning nearly three-quarters of its own.

🔼 Back to Paradise. Florida Atlantic’s four-game winning streak ended Saturday at Army, 56-24, as the nation’s top rushing attack pulled away after a back-and-forth first quarter. Caden Veltkamp still threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns, hitting Easton Messer 14 times and finding Tucker Holloway for the first touchdown catch of his college career. The Owls return home at 4-2 overall and 1-1 in the American Conference.
🔼 Owls Head North. Florida Atlantic women’s golf tees it up today and tomorrow at the Richmond Spider Invitational, a 54-hole event opening with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Freshman Clemence Da Costa leads the lineup after pacing the Owls at the Mason Rudolph Invitational, joined by fellow French native Tina Genoulaz, who won an event as a freshman last season.
