🏈 Big Opportunity
🏀 Season tickets are almost gone
🦉 And much, much more

🔼 Big Opportunity. FAU football is set to take the field against No. 19 South Florida on Saturday night in a must-watch game that will be televised on ESPNU. FAU, the winners of two straight, brings one of the nation’s hottest offenses into the contest, led by QB Caden Veltkamp. Veltkamp has the most completions per game in the NCAA and leads the American Conference in passing yards, passing touchdowns, passing yards per game, and total offense.

🔼 Going, Going, Gone. FAU men’s basketball season tickets are flying off the shelves; just 325 season tickets remain for the upcoming season! Get yours now and pack the Elly!

🔼 Inside The Owls’ Burrow. Episode 10 of Inside the Owls’ Burrow is here! Sit down with Frank Forte and Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley as they talked last week’s huge win over UAB and this Saturday’s monster clash with No. 19 South Florida. Plus: Forte talks with DL coach and former Owl Devin Santana, DB and team captain Wendol Philord is wired for sound, and the show takes a look back at Harrison Bryant’s epic Mackey Award-winning 2019 season.

🔼 Conference Battle. No. 22 FAU men’s soccer is set for a Friday night clash on the road against Charlotte. FAU and Charlotte are two of the strongest teams in the American Conference, with the Owls holding a two-point advantage over the 49ers in current conference standings.

🔼 Bump, Set, Spike. FAU volleyball is gearing up for a two-game homestand this weekend as the Owls welcome Temple tonight and Charlotte on Sunday. Tonight’s first serve is slated for 6 p.m., while Sunday’s matinee will get underway at 1 p.m. FAU heads into tonight’s game 13-6 on the season with a 4-2 conference record, with Olivia Hart, Anna Hartman, and Erin Morrissey leading the way for the team offensively.

🔼 Holding Serve. FAU men’s tennis had a great showing at the Fall Regional Championship! The Owls won three singles matches and four doubles matches on Day One. The dynamic doubles duo of Mark Havlicek and Marek Pazdera battled all the way to the finals, where they were ultimately defeated. FAU will split its next competition, with select members competing in the American Conference Individual Championships and others competing at the Rome Georgia Invitational, beginning Oct. 24.

🔼 Owls in the NFL. How did some of your favorite former Owls fare in the NFL during Week 6? We’re taking a look back. Defensive end Trey Hendrickson recorded two tackles in the first half of Cincinnati’s loss to the Packers before sitting out the second half due to injury, while TE Zaire Mitchell-Paden saw time on offense and special teams for the Ravens. CB James Pierre played a season-high 16 snaps for the Steelers, logging three tackles, a TFL, and a pass deflection on third down. RB Devin Singletary rushed three times for 10 yards in the Giants’ win over the Eagles, and offensive tackle Brandon Walton was called up from the practice squad as the Panthers beat the Cowboys.
