🔼 Keep Watch. Two FAU softball players landed on the D1Softball Top 100 Freshman Watch List! Makenna Lee and Lily Lowery are both expected to make an early impact on the Owls. Lee, a pitcher, comes to Paradise from Ellenton, Florida, while utility player Lowery joins FAU from Alabama. The two will look to help pilot the Owls to their third straight American Conference regular season title.

Go For Gold. Former FAU women’s hoops star Brittany Bowe is heading back to the Olympics! Bowe, who has two bronze medals from previous Olympics, is set to compete not in women’s basketball but in speed skating, qualifying in the 1,000-meter and 1,500-meter events. The Winter Olympics get underway from Italy on Feb. 6.
