🔼 Pirates Walk the Plank. A dominant second-half performance powered the Owls to a 64-48 win over the East Carolina Pirates on Saturday in Greenville. The dub marked the Owls first-ever over ECU, and as head coach Jennifer Sullivan said, “Getting any win in conference play is huge, but especially on the road against a good ECU team.”
Mya Perry led the way for the Owls with a career-best 29-point performance, also tying for a team-high four steals and collected a board. Jada Moore also scored in double figures for the Owls, turning in 12 points on 44 percent (4-of-9) from the field. Ta'Ziah Jenks led the Owls on the boards, collecting a career-high 13 rebounds.
