Good Morning, FAU Family. FAU Athletics announced a $2 million gift from the Hagerty Family, set to support women’s scholarships and the Competitive Excellence Fund. The Hagertys have donated more than $12 million in support of FAU Athletics since 2021.

🔼 No. 1. FAU softball is No. 1 in the American Conference Coaches Preseason Poll! The Owls will enter the season as the back-to-back defending American Conference regular season titles. No team in league history has ever won three consecutive regular season championships.

🔼 Winning Ways. FAU men’s tennis beat South Alabama, 4-1, yesterday, overcoming travel delays and cold weather. The Owls are now 3-2 to start 2026. FAU is back at it on Friday, Feb. 20, at 1 p.m.

🔼 Dinner on the Diamond. FAU softball hosted its first Dinner on the Diamond this week as a new season looms closer. Program supporters enjoyed dinner on Joan Joyce Field alongside head coach Jordan Clark, the team’s assistant coaches, and the players. Go behind-the-scenes here.

🔼 Inside the Owls’ Burrow. Episode 22 of Inside the Owls’ Burrow aired yesterday and will re-air on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 11:30 a.m. on FanDuel Sports Florida. Frank Forte previews FAU softball’s upcoming season, talks with assistant women’s basketball coach Alison Hughes, and looks ahead to 2026 Baseball Fanfest Day.
