Good morning, Owls Family. FAU Softball has put season tickets on sale for the Owls' 29 home games in the 2025 season. 
 
For just $3 per game, fans can come to Joan Joyce Field to witness the defending AAC regular season champion Florida Atlantic Owls, coming off a 41-win campaign and their first NCAA Regional appearance since 2016. 
 
The highly anticipated AAC home schedule begins with a series against Wichita State. Also coming to town is the reigning conference tournament champion Charlotte.

🔼 Everything’s Coming Up Football. The FAU football team will begin on-field spring practice on Tuesday, Mar. 11, and practice each Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday throughout March and the first two weeks of April.
 
Under the direction of the newly hired head football coach Zach Kittley, the Owls will use the 15 practice days to blend the nearly 75 returning players with more than 30 newcomers, both transfers and true freshmen.


🔼 To the Victor Go the Spoils. Florida Atlantic women's tennis defeated No. 23 Miami by a 4-1 score on Thursday morning at the Kimberly V. Strauss Tennis Center—their first victory over the Hurricanes.
 
Newcomers Malwina Rowinska and Lara Smejkal captured court one doubles with a 6-4 score.
 
FAU took the lead on nearly every court, but the bottom half of the lineup powered the team to the win. Senior Millie-Mae Matthews was the first singles court winner with a straight-set 6-3, 6-2 victory. Rowinska gave the Owls a two-point lead with a 6-4, 6-4 win on court four. Lexi Silna then served as the hero again, clinching the FAU match with a 6-1, 7-6 (7-5) win on court five.

🔼 Back in the Burrow. Episode 21 of Florida Atlantic's Inside the Owls' Burrow airs tonight at 5:30 p.m. ET and again tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. The show originates on FanDuel Sports Network Florida (formerly Bally Sports Florida) and can also be viewed on fausports.com and YouTube.

Featured in this week's show is Men's Basketball Assistant Coach and Director of Player Development Demond Parker. Jada Moore of the WBB team will join host Frank Forte for "In the Paint", a get-to-know series of offbeat questions. Plus, the men's tennis season is previewed along with a recap of baseball's Iron Owl competition.

🔼 Down to the Wire. Florida Atlantic men's tennis hosted Miami on Thursday afternoon for the first time in program history. However, the home-court advantage didn't fall in favor of FAU, who fell to UM 4-3.

🔼 Left It All On the Hardwood. The Florida Atlantic Owls battled tough but fell 79-64 on the road at Tulsa on Wednesday. The Owls drop to 9-9 on the season and 1-4 in AAC play, while Tulsa moves to 9-9 overall and 3-3 in league play.

Mya Perry led the way for the Owls with 20 points, shooting 5-of-17 from the field, 3-of-10 from 3-point range, and going a perfect 7-of-7 from the line, in addition to collecting three boards and two steals. Maria Myklebust also scored double-figures for the Owls, finishing with a season-high 14 points.

 đź”Ľ Right On Track. The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team will start their indoor season today in Gainesville to compete in the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, participating for the second consecutive year. Florida Atlantic will return twice to Gainesville and take a trip to Boston on Feb. 14-15 before participating in their second indoor American Athletic Conference Championships in Birmingham from Feb. 28- Mar 1. 



🔼 Tu Little, Tu Late. Florida Atlantic's men's basketball team fell to Tulane on Wednesday evening by a score of 80-65. The Owls move to 9-9 on the season, 2-3 in American Athletic Conference play after falling to the Green Wave (10-8, 4-1 AAC).

Kaleb Glenn led the way for the Owls, with 13 points on 5-for-8 shooting. Tre Carroll added 10 points and eight rebounds.
