The home slate at Flagler Credit Union Stadium includes South Florida, FIU, Navy’s first visit as an American Conference member, UTSA, and Rice. Conference game dates will be announced in February. QB Caden Veltkamp, the nation's leader in completions per game, and WR Easton Messer, the nation's leader in receptions per game, return as one of the country's most explosive offensive duos.

🔼 Winning At Home. FAU men’s hoops beat Wichita State, 85-67, last night in Florida. Kanaan Carlyle and Isaiah Elohim led the way for the Owls with 18 points apiece, while Devin Williams finished with a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double. Xander Pintelon rounded out the Owls who scored in double figures with 11.

The Owls hit the road next, traveling to Philadelphia to take on Temple on Sunday, Jan. 18 at noon.

🔼 On The Field. Seniors Autumn Courtney (pitcher), Jesiana Mora (third baseman), and Chloe Yeatts (catcher) landed on D1Softball's preseason position rankings.

Courtney ranks No. 11 among pitchers—the only American Conference player on the list following her unanimous league Pitcher of the Year season. Mora checks in at No. 6 among third basemen after leading FAU with 68 hits and winning American Defensive Player of the Year. Yeatts is No. 10 among catchers after setting the program's single-season RBI record (54) in her debut campaign.

🔼 The Best. Redshirt senior WR Easton Messer has been nominated for EA Sports College Football 26's "Stars of the Season" program in Ultimate Team. Messer led the nation in receptions per game and became just the fourth Owl to top 1,000 receiving yards in a season, finishing third all-time in single-season yards. Voting runs through Jan. 20, and winners will be announced Feb. 5. Click here to vote.

🔼 Inside The Owls’ Burrow. The spring edition of Inside the Owls' Burrow airs Thursday, Jan. 16 at noon on FanDuel Sports Florida, with a re-air Saturday, Jan. 18 at 11:30 a.m.

Episode 21 recaps men's basketball wins over UAB and Memphis and features guard Kanaan Carlyle, the reigning American Player of the Week, in "Wired for Sound."
