FAU men’s hoops picked up a big home win over Memphis on Sunday afternoon. Kanaan Carlyle paced the Owls with 17 points, while Devin Vanterpool added a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Xander Pintelon (13) and Devin Williams (12) also finished in double figures for the Owls, who will host Wichita State on Thursday, Jan. 15, at 9 p.m.

🔼 Road Win. FAU women’s hoops picked up a big road win on Saturday, downing UAB, 70-63. The 7-9 Owls were led by Vivian Onugha’s 15 points, while Grace Carstensen added 12. Madi Gewirtz and Zahira Arizmendi rounded out the Owls scoring in double figures with 10 apiece, while Jess Moors and Ineivi Plata tallied nine. Gewirtz finished one rebound shy of a double-double on the afternoon.

The Owls are back at it tomorrow at home against Wichita State. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m., and you can grab your tickets here.

🔼 Dive In. FAU men’s and women’s swimming and diving opened the 2026 slate with a pair of home wins. The men’s squad swept Wagner, while the women swept North Texas and Wagner en route to collecting 26 event victories. The Owls will be back in the pool on Jan. 17 at home against St. Thomas to celebrate Senior Day.
