Good morning, FAU Family. In their first year in the American Athletic Conference, the regular season champion Florida Atlantic softball team was well represented in the AAC awards given out at the conclusion of the 2024 regular season.

The Florida Atlantic coaching staff was named Coaching Staff of the Year. Kiley Channell was named Rookie of the Year and selected to the All-Rookie Team, while Ainsley Lambert, Katelynn de Leon, Kamryn Jackson, Presley Leebrick, and Trinity Schlotterbeck have been named First Team All-Conference. Sophomore Jesiana Mora was named Second Team All-Conference.

🔼 Couple o’ Ballers. Florida Atlantic Softball’s accolades continue. Ainsley Lambert was named AAC Pitcher of the Week, and outfielder Kamryn Jackson was named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll.

Jackson helped the Owls sweep Tulsa to claim the first regular season title in school history in the AAC, recording a .545 batting average. Lambert was a vital part of the pitching staff this weekend, helping the Owls secure the No. 1 seed and claim the regular season title for the first AAC title in school history.

🔼 A Mid-Week Snack. Florida Atlantic Baseball defeated Florida Gulf Coast 9-6 on Tuesday at home in non-conference midweek action. Christian Adams and Carter Brady led the offense with two hits each. Both finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored. The Owls head to Houston for their penultimate conference series against Rice starting Friday night.
