🔼 The Owls Have Entered the Chat. Florida Atlantic's softball team will begin its journey in the NCAA Gainesville Regional today at 2:30 p.m. EST for game one against South Alabama. The game will air on ESPN+.

The No. 3 seeded Owls are on their way to an NCAA postseason appearance for the first time since 2016. This marks Florida Atlantic's 12th NCAA appearance. The Owls will enter postseason play with a 41-14 overall record and 41 in the RPI rankings. Florida Atlantic returns to Gainesville for the sixth time in program history in a postseason appearance. 

🔼 A Sturdy Performance. Florida Atlantic graduate senior Max Sturdza finished tied for 51st at Wednesday's NCAA Baton Rouge Regional. Sturdza closed with a 74 (+2) in the final round to show improvement in each of the three days.
 
Sturdza caps off one of the best single seasons and individual careers in Florida Atlantic men's golf history. Sturdza will depart FAU as the single-season record holder for scoring average (70.51), par or better rounds (20), birdies (145), and eagles (6 – tied most).

🔼 Camping Out. Florida Atlantic Athletics will host a wide variety of camps over the summer. Each camp will offer hands-on instruction from coaches and Owl student-athletes for their respective sports. For more information on the different camps offered within FAU Athletics, go HERE.

🔼 Bidding Adieu to the Burrow (For Now). This week, host and producer Frank Forte examines how FAU softball won a share of the American Athletic Conference regular season title and its first NCAA tournament bid since 2016. He also talks one-on-one with newly hired men's basketball Coach John Jakus, who provides an update on his roster-building mission and his new coaching staff.

Forte will also look back at the best of the beach volleyball season, look ahead to the fall, and discuss the prospects for the women's soccer team. The show will also showcase running back Gemari Sands, one of the spring football practice breakout stars.

This will be the final show of the 2023-24 academic year. Join us next August when the Owls are welcomed home and begin their 2024-25 campaigns.

🔼 Onward and Upward. Florida Atlantic baseball could not slow down a torrid UTSA offense on Thursday night, falling 14-1 in seven innings. The Owls will try to even the series on tonight at 6:30 p.m.

Owl Nation Nailed It. The Florida Atlantic softball team traveled to Gainesville, Florida, on Wednesday for the 2024 NCAA Regional. Fans were encouraged to attend the team send-off outside the Tom Oxley Center, and as you can see, they showed up and showed out.
 
The Owls return to the NCAA Regional for the first time since 2016. As the No. 3 seed, FAU will take on South Alabama today at 2:30 p.m. EST, airing on ESPN+.
