Good Morning, Owl Nation. Florida Atlantic's football home opener is set for Saturday, Sept. 7, at FAU Stadium versus Army West Point. The Owls will celebrate Military Appreciation Day as the Black Knights come to Boca Raton.

๐ผ VEEP. Florida Atlantic University President Stacy Volnick has announced a five-year contract extension for Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White through 2029.
Since arriving in Boca Raton in 2018, White's leadership has produced record-breaking numbers in fundraising, ticket sales, earned media, and student-athlete academic success, all while achieving the highest levels of competition.
"The entire university has benefited tremendously from the success of our athletics program under Brian's leadership," said Volnick. "We are celebrating the largest enrollment in our 60-year history, and the positive media attention we continue to receive from athletics contributes to the increased interest in attending Florida Atlantic."
๐ผ An Emotional Episode. Inside the Owls Burrow enters its ninth season. The show originates on Bally Sports Florida but can be viewed on fausports.com and YouTube. Episode three airs on Bally Sports Florida today at 12:30 p.m. ET and Saturday, Sept. 7, at 11:30 a.m.
This week, head football coach Tom Herman will discuss the Owls season opener at Michigan State and the team's home opener versus Army. Sophomore tight end Zeke Moore is featured in "Pads Off," and the emotional reaction of walk-on LB Makai Sawtelle after he was awarded a scholarship. In honor of Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, the story of graduate assistant coach Kyle Brady, who served five years in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of captain, is also featured.
๐ผ Seeing Red. Florida Atlantic Volleyball hits the road for the first time this season this weekend as the Owls head to Lubbock, Texas, to compete in the Red Raider Classic.
The Owls will kick off the weekend against Green Bay today at 11:30 a.m. ET before wrapping up their first day of competition against host Texas Tech at 7 p.m. Florida Atlantic will wrap up the weekend on Saturday at 11 a.m. against Northern Arizona.
