Good Morning, Owl Nation. Florida Atlantic Athletics recently released the department’s Annual Report, highlighting and celebrating the Owls’ achievements in 2023-24—their first in the American Athletic Conference.

The department had a record-breaking year, boasting all-time highs in fundraising and ticket sales revenues. FAU’s student-athletes also continued to excel in the classroom.

"It is a testament to the hard work of our student-athletes, coaches, and staff, the incredibly generous support of our fans, alumni, and donors, as well as the profoundly positive trajectory of the entire university,” said Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White.

The highlights were softball winning the school's first AAC crown and men's basketball making consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances for the first time in school history.

🔼 Owl Be On Camera. Florida Atlantic's Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Tom Herman, linebacker Jackson Ambush, and center Federico Maranges completed the two-day American Athletic Conference Media Kickoff event held in Dallas, Texas, on Monday and Tuesday.

🔼 Press From the Pitch. Florida Atlantic men's soccer has announced a 15-game schedule for the upcoming 2024 regular season. In his eighth season at the helm, Joey Worthen will lead the program into its third campaign as a part of the American Athletic Conference. The Owls advanced to the AAC Tournament semifinals a year ago.
 
The trek begins on the road with a pair of matches in the plains of Nebraska. The Owls will square off with Creighton (4-7-6 in 2023) in the season opener on August 22 and Omaha (8-8-4) three days later.
 
The home opener is set for August 29 against Stetson, kicking off a stretch of four straight at the FAU Soccer Stadium.
