Happy Friday, Owl Nation! Florida Atlantic University is hosting an EA Sports College Football 25 Launch Party on Tuesday, July 16, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the university's eSports arena. The event is open to the public.
 
The event will celebrate the much-anticipated return of the EA College Football video game, giving fans a sneak peek at the game, which goes on sale to the public on Friday, July 19.
 
Next week's event will include several football student-athletes playing the game that now features their name, image, and likeness. Free food will be provided, and the first 100 attendees will receive a custom FAU-branded video game case to house their game.

🔼 For the Children. Florida Atlantic men's basketball will participate in the 2024 Shriners Children's Hospital Charleston Classic held at the TD Arena from November 21-24.
 
Hosted by ESPN Events and broadcasted on several ESPN platforms, the event will give a national audience an early look at incoming Head Coach John Jakus and the revamped Owls roster. Florida Atlantic was the champion of the 2023 ESPN Events Invitational at Walt Disney World, taking down Butler, defeating No. 12 Texas A&M, and culminating in an 84-50 blowout victory over Virginia Tech in the championship game.
 
Drake, the University of Miami, Nevada, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall, Vanderbilt, and VCU will also head to Charleston in the competitive eight-team field.

🔼 One is NOT the Loneliest Number. Florida Atlantic Athletics has announced that single-game football tickets are available for sale beginning Monday, July 15.

Current season ticket holders and Paradise Club members have an exclusive three-day window to purchase additional single-game tickets Monday through Wednesday. Sales will open to the public beginning Thursday, July 18.
 
The Owls are poised for a strong season under second-year head coach Tom Herman, entering the second year in the American Athletic Conference. Florida Atlantic's 2024 home schedule includes the opener versus Army West Point, the Black Knights' debut in the AAC, and marquee in-state matchups versus FIU and USF.
