Good morning. ICYMI! FAU Baseball's midweek matchup with Florida Gulf Coast, which was supposed to be played yesterday, has been rescheduled for May 7.
The Owls’ three-game AAC series at Memphis begins tomorrow (Thursday, March 28) at 7pm ET.
With this break in our regularly scheduled programming, we thought we’d share some info on Spring Baseball Tailgating for Paradise Club and Diamond Club Members. The next event is scheduled for April 19.
Because tailgating—it’s not just for football.

🔼 And in Conclusion… After his 2023-24 season as head coach of the Florida Atlantic men's basketball team, Dusty May has been named the Palm Beach County Sports Commission Coach of the Year.
In May's six seasons with the Owls, he won 126 games, 50 more than the next winningest coach in FAU history.
🔼 Maxing Out. Florida Atlantic men's golf (+44) finished 11th at the UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate on Monday. Individually, Max Sturdza (-1) finished solo fifth—his fifth Top 5 finish of 2023-24. After an opening round 75 on Sunday, Sturdza posted back-to-back under-par rounds of 69 and 71 to finish at -1. He circled six birdies in Monday's final round.
🔼 Proper “Poll” Position. For the first time since 2016, Florida Atlantic softball is ranked on a national poll. The Owls were ranked No. 25 in the Softball America Top 25 Poll announced on Monday morning.
The Owls have a 27-7 overall record on the season. Florida Atlantic is coming off back-to-back American Athletic Conference sweeps against UAB and Memphis. Head Coach Jordan Clark is on her 62nd win at the helm. The Owls are tied for first with North Texas in the conference standings.
🔼 Eight Straight is, Well, Great. The No. 25 Florida Atlantic softball team won on the road in a non-conference matchup against Stetson by a score of 3-2 to improve their winning streak to eight. Florida Atlantic improves to 28-7 on the season.
The Owls are now 18-5 against non-conference opponents. Pitcher Trinity Schlotterbeck picked up her 13th win of the season. She faced 16 batters on the day and recorded four strikeouts on the night.
