🔼 Two Reese-ons To Celebrate. FAU football has a pair of standouts in Evan Anderson and Je'Quan Burton who have been named to the 11th Annual Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List.
The Reese's Watch List team began the process of finding the "best of the best" draft prospects for the 2024 NFL Draft. FAU's duo are among 720 position players who will be evaluated throughout the 2023 season and more could be added.

🔼 Check Your Six. Florida Atlantic men's soccer knocked off (RV) Lipscomb in a 6-4 thriller last night. The Owls' goal total was the most in a single game since a 6-0 win over Xavier on September 16, 2005.
Down 2-0 after the first half-hour, a cross from Sebastian Zettl was headed home by freshman Oliver Moller-Jensen—and 14 minutes later, Jonathan Lassesen was taken down in the penalty area allowing Tom Abrahamsson to step forward and convert the penalty kick to tie the game.
Just 48 seconds into the second half, Victor Claudel crossed the ball to Noah Kvifte alone in the six-yard box who twisted to give the Owls their first lead of the night. A few minutes later, Victor Claudel added his name to the goal column in the 50th minute to make it 4-2. Lipscomb then responded with two goals in six minutes to square the score once again.
The Owls finally regained the lead for the final time in the 59th minute. Once again, it was Tom Abrahamsson who converted from the penalty spot after Victor Claudel drew a foul inside the box. Noah Kvifte completed the scoring for the night three minutes later when he found himself on the end of a clinical cross from Tom Abrahamsson.
Goalkeeper Rotem Fadida settled in to finish with nine saves in his FAU debut.
🔼 Bounce Back. Florida Atlantic women's soccer just couldn't find the back of the net last night as the Owls fell in a 3-0 battle against the Oklahoma State Cowgirls at Neal Patterson Stadium. The squad will return to the Sunshine State on Sunday afternoon as they host the Texas A&M – Corpus Christi Islanders for a 1:00pm ET kickoff at FAU Soccer Stadium.

Crazy eights. Typically, touchdowns are followed by extra points to give you seven points for getting into the end zone—but when you need that eighth point there’s always the opportunity to go for a two-point conversion.
It didn’t happen last season, but can you remember the last season when the Owls converted a two-point conversion?
