Good Morning, FAU Fam. The FAU softball team has concluded a highly successful 2023-24 campaign which resulted in 41 wins, claiming the regular season title in their first year with the American Athletic Conference.

Entering the second season at the helm, Jordan Clark finishes year two with a 76-36 career record. Clark registered her 50th career win early in the season and her first NCAA Regional appearance as a head coach. 

Graduate Trinity Schlotterbeck was named among the top 100 players by Softball America, ranked at No. 67. She was named NFCA First Team All-Region, Softball America, and NFCA All-American. Sophomore Jesiana Mora was named NFCA Second Team All-Region after having a stellar sophomore season.

🔼 All 4 One, and One 4 All. The Florida Atlantic men's tennis team concluded the 2023-24 season, their first in the American Athletic Conference, with a 16-7 record and a No. 45 national ranking and they are only getting stronger. TennisRecruiting.net ranks the incoming recruiting class No. 4 nationally among mid-major colleges.
 
Three West Coast colleges led the country, with Pepperdine holding the top spot, followed by San Diego and UC Santa Barbara. Florida Atlantic was the top non-West Coast team at No. 4, leading all AAC schools.

🔼 Good Memory Lane. On Sept. 14, 2024, the Florida Atlantic Owls football team plays the FIU Panthers at home. As we look ahead, we can also take the time to go back in history to the last matchup between the two teams—the Shula Bowl—on Nov. 13, 2022. And it doesn’t hurt that it was an absolute rout.

Florida Atlantic University football (5-5, 4-2 C-USA) dominated the FIU Panthers (4-6, 2-4 C-USA) from start to finish, resulting in a 52-7 win in Shula Bowl XXI. This marked the Owls' sixth-straight Shula Bowl victory.

"I'm really excited about how our entire football team played,” said former head coach Willie Taggart. “That was by far the best game we've played this year as an entire unit, from special teams, offense, and defense.”
