🔼 Lights, Camera, Owls. Florida Atlantic Football's 2024 opening kick is less than three months away. While the Owls continue to prepare for the second season under head football coach Tom Herman, the American Athletic Conference and its television partners announced selected game times and TV designations on Thursday. 

The announcement has the Owls playing on national TV at least five times in 2024, with two games on ESPN or ESPN2, two others on CBS Sports Network, one on Big Ten Network, and two on ESPN+. The remaining five game times and media outlets will be announced no later than 12 days prior to those contests.

🔼 On This Day in FAU History. Well, technically, it was June 1, 2023, but close enough! D1Baseball.com named Nolan Schanuel as a First Team All-American. That made five outlets that included the Owls' slugger on its first team joining the ABCA, Collegiate Baseball, Perfect Game, and Baseball America. The NCBWA named Schanuel to its second team. 

🔼 Deja Vous All Over Again. On the heels of just being announced as a Softball America Second Team All-American, Utility/Pitcher Trinity Schlotterbeck of the Florida Atlantic softball team has earned yet another honor, being named NFCA Third Team All-American as announced by the organization. 

The two-way player spent the entire season in the lineup with the Owls as one of the starting pitchers and one of the strongest hitters in the lineup.
